Help with sidewalk texture

Hi. Sorry for the stupid question, but I can not for the love of me figure out how to get rid of a sidewalk texture. I thought it's Paeng's low wealth sandstone texture so I've even deleted the mod, the textures, messed up my plugins folder (game didn't work for 1.5 hours) and yet the sidewalk remains...everywhere.

I've attached a picture so you'll get a better „picture”. Can anybody help? Tell me exactly what to look for? What should I delete...?

Have you checked for a MOD beginning with Z or more likely zzz? Usually at the end of your plugins and some may be in the NAM folder.

Also, check in your Maxis plugins folder, usually located at:

"C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4 Deluxe\Plugins"

The game will load plugin files from this directory, as well as the main "Documents" one.

Ok. This is emberrasing. Just as I posted the question I found the problem. Someone please delete this. Thank you for your help. And while I'm here (before this gets deleted) does anyone know of a mod that maked all sidewalks medium wealth?

If you just recognize your plugins, you'll never encountered this kind of problem. Simply remove every suspected files within your plugins and see if that change anything. Though it's not a conflict thing, but this by Nonny Moose will help you find the culprit.

Glad you've found it. But for the benefit of others with a similar problem, it may be helpful to share where it was, or what you did to find it...

Plenty of sidewalk mods can offer you only one unified sidewalk texture. To mind that includes MLs Super Light Asphalt, Paeng's and the original SMP sandstone and plenty others. Of course IF you really want the Maxis textures, then the white sidewalk mod is probably for you.
