Hi to the great SC community :)

I am in the process of balancing all the content i downloaded online (pollution, garbage, power&water production or consum, etc.). But i need to have a look at the original game objects values to know how to balance everything. Especially for pollution, garbage, landmark effect and everything not beeing written explicitely in the game ! I looked for those intel on Google, and in the original game files, without success yet regarding those particular values.

EDIT : i found that which is what i needed : http://www.simcitycentral.net/knowledge/simcity4/building-pollution-chart/ (thx to xyloxadoria)

Also i was wondering if i can organize my menus by maybe creation of custom separator icons, or by altering the order of appearence of items ? I may have heard that somewhere but can't find anything about it anymore. Should i go for a menu-tool (if any) or manage it directly by altering my mod files with iLives Reader for example ?

Thanks in advance for help !

If i understand you correctly, you'll need the DAMN and SSP Tool, here's the tutorial: http://www.simpeg.co...=articles;cat=7

You may also find this useful:

    SC4 Buildings List

It's a reference list of all RCI buildings in the game, with information including the:

    • Name
    • Tileset
    • Type
    • Capacity
    • Lot size

I also recommend you take a look at the SC4 Tool. It contains a database of all the buildings in game, with the full properties of each one easily accessible. It also has a range of other features, including an exemplar editor, allowing the properties of LOT files to be modified. This is useful if you plan on working with custom content.

    Hello

Thanks a lot for those links they will prove very usefull. DAMN is not exactly what i was looking for but i'll definitively give it a try to see how practical it can be to use ingame compared to the classical menus.

And SC4 Tool is really exactly what i need, all informations are there in a very comprehensive way. Now i can learn from maxis gamebalance and see how it compares with downloaded mods.Currently i use iLives Reader to modify mods, but maybe SC4 Tool would be better. I'll play with it and see how it goes.

    Thanks again :)
