Need some help finding buildings that work on mac...

A lot of the nice buildings I find either come in exe or there are essentials missing from the STEX. What are some nice looking ones that work? I prefer modern architecture but at this point I'm kinda frustrated. I know, my fault for buying a mac etc etc. Help me out here though!

Almost all buildings will work on macs.

To get the exe files working, you need to put them through file juicer,

Also, all my buildings will work on macs, including nightlights, and there is also a small pack of buildings that will also work, search Mac Pack on the STEX. But you will be able to load and use every building on macs.

If there are some dependencies that you can't find, they may be on the LEX, you will have to register for that. Or you may want to ask for help finding them in the thread.

Never say it's your fault for buying a Mac! :) I've been playing on one for a few years now and I will never go back! Far superior performance on my MacBook Pro then even my best PC.

Does file juicer work 100% of the time on exe files?

Only if you pay for it. If you would prefer not to you can download a trial version where it works for 7 days OR 10 extracts. Or something similar. So if it appears to stop working then delete FileJuicer off your machine and just re download the trial version. The only way it works 100% of the time is if you purchase it.

There was a post on here a while back, or on SC4D a while back detailing how to instal and use wine to extract exe files. I'll have to go back and find it because it works so much better than file juicer. A minor issue where it wants to find windows directories, but thats an easy change.

The only problem that I have with wine is I have no idea how I set it up, so I'm afraid to uninstal it and lose it all.

If by any chance someone finds that post, send me the link and I'll write up a tutorial about it.
