I have always wondered but never asked this. Will the traffic, when they get to their destination, will the cars dissapear on the road outside the building(like SC4) or drive in then dissapear. Also, A while ago i read that the most ot the traffic will go to underground parking. Does that mean that the few that doesn't park underground, park themselves or just dissapear.

As far as i know the surface car parks fill first and anything extra goes underground.

Will traffic volume change with time, moreover, will there be rush hour traffic?

From what they explained in one of the early videos, I'd suspect yes there will be a rush hour.

How it was explained in the video was that at dawn, or at a certain hour, the factories would send agents out along the roads to look for workers, the workers would then travel to that factory. After a certain number of hours, the workers would go home.

The one simulation-based issue about the way Maxis has structured it, is that the agents are random and no single house will send agents to the same job every day. They may be working on that for an update or may leave that for a sequel or expansion pack, but either way, in my opinion isn't really necessary.

SimCity is still being developed, just because something isn't in the game right now, doesn't mean it won't be in the final game.

I can remember in SC4 that cars would constantly dissapear. But I think that's just me and maybe a few other people, tho it's very frustrating!

The cars dissapear because there at their destination, or somthing. But yeah, it get really annoying when they dissapear. Somtimes i try to make a traffic jam, but the cars dissapear instead. I hate that. I hope they make SC5 to where they don't dissapear on the road.

It's not just you. The new simulation engine should stop this from happening.

I'm pretty sure this has been confirmed. At least in trailers there have been lots of sims at a stadium. And with the glassbox engine, Sims actually exist and have a purpose, so have to find their way home somehow.

It has been confirmed (Im lazy, and won't start looking for a link now)

They've said that all Sims will go shopping and using the venues. In my mind that means that, when theres a game at the stadium, Sims will come to watch the game, and that will start the traffic jams (if not you have made your roads and public transportation system well enough)
