Textures getting all messed up

I seem to be having a problem with my textures. They keep switching places, mainly road and zoned land textures. What I mean is, for example, a road intersection will have the texture of a street left-turn, or a 1x1 residential plot will have the texture of rails. I have also seen this glitch happening to smoke from industrial buildings and air pollution clouds. Also, this problem only occurs at certain zoom levels; when I change the zoom, the problem goes away, but when I zoom back in the problem returns. Is this a problem with my graphics card or did I install the NAM improperly?

Sounds like some plugins are screwing up. Take everything you think you may have downloaded since the problem first came up out of your plugins folder. See if you still have the problem. If that doesn't work, you're going to have to remove your plugins folder entirely and put in batches of plugins at a time, testing everything until you narrow down the problem.

I did what you said, and the problem is still there even without any plugins, but it doesn't happen as often. It seems that there is something else going wrong and the plugins are making it more unstable. Is there any fix?

Are you using an intel or powerpc mac? Because the graphics will get screwed up pretty badly when running on an intel processor (and that's a best-case scenario... worst case you have to hard reboot after futilely waiting 10 minutes for the keyboard to respond)
