Whaaaat... looking at a sheet of all the NHL team logos, there's only those ones that have hockey related items in them, unless you start stretching it a bit.

Ok i guess we have had some problems with this question. However I will have a new question 9. The correct answer is 8. It looks like it could of been 9 but I will explain my findings. Please note as I originally asked the current 30 team logos.

 

The teams are as follows:
Anahiem-Has 2 sticks, a mask
Atlanta-Has a stick held by the Bird or Thrasher
Columbus-Has a Stick also used for a J for the CBJ

Colorado-Has a puck at the end of the avalanche trail. (Black coloured)

Los Angeles-2 Sticks at the top.

New York Islanders-the Stick used for the Y. Also has a puck.

Pittsburgh-The Penguin using the stick

San Jose- The Shark with the broken stick

 

St louis was the toss up as it looked like a stick and a puck but its actually a horn.

Since no one managed to get this question right there will be a new question 9.

No offense, but I'm starting to doubt the ability of the question-asker.  First the most famous goal he cited (and counted me incorrect on) was a goal scored during international competition, not in an NHL game like the thread (NHL Trivia) says it should have been, and now his interpretation of hockey logos is shaky at best. 

That said, I'm still leading in points, so I can't complain too much.  Now if I could just spot the questions before other people do.

The Oilers logo doesn't have anything hockey like, Tolomar, unless you're thinking of a different team he played on (I naturally associate #99 with the Oilers since I live in Edmonton. ). The other one I was thinking of for hockey related was the Canucks, the whale breaking out of the ice.. can't have hockey without ice.

side note :well...the most famos goal in hockey is hendersons goal no questions asked, the summit series was more than just a hockey series....it was something deeper..political...us vs them  (democracy vs comunisim) and many other facters to boot ,all the Canadians were NHL players whom at the time weren't allowed to compete in the olympics, and were in the NHL play-offs while the CCCP with help from the rest of warsaw pack countires decided to hold the wold championships at the same time greatly reducing the world championships to a well were out of the playoffs might go and play there thing, for the majority of the Canadian and USA players ( be like hosting the world cup of soccor (football to the rest of the world) while Brazil,Italy,German, England etc etc players were still in their play-offs and them claim your the best country at the sport

Now from the logo question, I would like to say i'm sorry for any confusion that it may caused but please make sure everyone reads the question properly. As in this case it said:

 

How many of the 30 teams have something on there logo that has to do with hockey? I only want current logos from this season (eg. Puck). Bonus Name the teams

 

As you might have already guessed there is 30 teams in the NHL and only wanted current logos from this season. The Coyotes originally had a coyote with a stick but recently changed it to look like it was howling into the moon. If you look at the current kings logo it has 2 sticks at the very top of the logo.

 

Since there has been other problems such as wrong questions and other things i will revise the rules.

 

Current Rule: First player who answers the question correct will receive 10 points. There will be no point deductions taken away for wrong answers, however you may only answer once and you

1991 Eric Lindros was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques 1st overall, but refused to play for them...was later traded to the Philidelphia Flyers in a multi-player deal...Quebec then moved to Colorado as the Avalanch won the cup...Eric has yet to win his ring

 

Quebec got Peter Forsberg,  Steve Duchane, Kerry Huffman, Mike Ricci, Ron Hextall, Chris Simion 15 mil and two draft picks 93 and 94 first picks from Philly

Question 15.

 

We all have heard of Mario Lemieux perhaps one of the best hockey players in the world. And we all remember how the Penguins Drafted Jaromir Jagr in 1990.

 

As some people may or may not know that Jaromir is an anagram. The Anagram is Mario Jr. Kind of ironic.

 

The question is find another well known NHL player past or present and a teammate he had and devise another Anagram just like Mario and Jaromir (Mario Jr.) First Person to find this will be awarded the 10 points. Please also provide your sources to me so I can acknowledge that they are teammates.

well only 1 I can think of off hand is the Montreal Canadiens Rocket Richard...his brother on the same team was the pocket-rocket, but that not really an anagram though
