HELP!!! Every time i try to load a map it crashes halfway through the greyscale loading.

This is really getting on my nerves and i just can't work out why. There have been a few that have worked but the ones i want (which should work) Keep crashing.

Any ideas peeps ;/

It might be that the region you are trying to create is too big for your computer to handle. I have been trying to be a bit ambitious and my Simcity crashed yesterday so I had to make my region and the image smaller. I then had no probs creating the region :-).

The number of cities may have to do with it. I couldn't load Melbourne with the original config.bmp arrangement, but painting it all blue worked.

try removing any terrain mods then load the gray scale
