I got the deluxe edition (which is for pc and the same as the platinum, but costs a fraction of it) and I really enjoy it. You can go nuts with your roller coasters and with enough patience and creativity and even more patience you can really put down a hell of a park.

got the 3 series 1, 2 and 3 well worth it , there are three parts to the third one , my favourite is rollercoaster tycoon 2 , had them years and still go back to them from time to time , just got back into simcity 4 after a good few years of absene , could never make it pay and used to get fed up with it , then after reloading and playing for a while using the money cheat and about to give up again I found this site and sc4 , what a difference blown away by these sites

oh now I see where the problem comes from. over here the platinum is mac only and the pc equivalent is deluxe; and there's other countries that sell the platinum cross platform.

there's rct3d still in the making which is supposed to be released this year.

But I hope they announce an rct4 soon

I used a cheat for unlimited launch speeds and got a coaster with 27 Gs. It launched at 1500mph. Here's a list of cheats. You just rename a guest to the name.

These games are so addictive you'll have hours of play on RCT3 lol... I was addicted to the first one like crazy RCT3 takes a bit more getting used to and a few things are not quite as intuitive the path system on RCT3 makes me a bit crazy but designing coasters is so much better on RCT3. :-) Just beware of placeing too many photo booths because your guests use them I ended up with a hard drive full of pictures lol.
