Good Business Games/Sims

So I'm looking for some good business sims or games, like back in the days when action was mario fighting coopas and knocking your opponent into the energy barrier in f-zero

you know, like Industry Giant, Capitalism, the Patrician, Black Gold, the Guild,...

any ideas?

Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe (OTTD in short) comes to mind. It has a modding community as well, so after you have managed the basics, you can set yourself new goals and challenges.

yeah got that, love it. especially the level of customization even of the stock game makes a lot of fun

I have heard of the original Capitalism before. Try that out. You may/will need DOSBox first.

I got Capitalism Plus, which is an enhanced (and windows compatible) version of Capitalism, so I don't think I go for the dos version.

Thats good. Otherwise there are none to get like that except for TTD and the newer, spiritual sucsessor to TTD, Locomotion. You likely will run into trouble with a Win7 install though.

Have you tried Capitalism II? I play that time to time and I really enjoy it. I'm not sure how different it is from the first, but it does go quite in depth for a game. If you are interested, I highly recommend it.

now that you mention it, I own both Capitalism Plus and Capitalism 2, but the only one I played (from what I remember that is) was Capitalism 2
