Three questions...

How do you edit capacities for mass transit lots in game with this tool?

How do you make a growable building appear in the menus (I am using DLC, and have set a building as a hospital and said where I want it to appear in the menus (health) but the menu part doesn't save)?

How do you get in-game building (not DLC) into the LEP?

How do you make you own buildings?

Have I got the wrong program?

You don't, because the capacities aren't contained in the lot exemplars; they're contained in the building exemplars. You need to use a program like Ilive's Reader to edit the Transit Switch Traffic Capacity property in these exemplars.

EDIT: That's the second time today that Ganaram beat me with an answer by seconds. :O

And in answer to question number 3 of 5 you simply open it in the LE and you can work on the lot's properties but not the building. About all you can do is change the footprint (make it larger) and add props.

So, if I understand the answers correctly, you are saying it is impossible to extract growable buildings and re-define them as props for use on any ploppable lot being created? If this is impossible ("You can't" #2 which should actually be #3 because the first answer was #0) then, is it possible to redefine a ploppable building for general use as a prop? Such as a school building being redefined as a prop so it can be used in customized lots as the main building of something else? I am limited with buildings to choose from. I make a little square in the BAT and define it as a school, hospital, garage, etc., one for each type. Then, when I make a lot, example, parking lot, I can use that tiny flat square as the main building with all the right properties, and then cover it up with a different building from the prop list. Unfortunately, I do not find very many buildings in the prop list and the answer here seems to be that it is impossible to extract buildings and make them props?

You can only do that if you have the .sc4model file.  Then you can do what you like with it, and define it as a prop.  This means learning to use more software, but it is possible.

Thanks. Lots to choose from. I'll keep it basic for now witht the top three, Gmax for the SC4 BAT, PIM and LE. I've installed DatGen but haven't fiddled with it much, not found where it's needed.. yet. While on this thread of LE Prop Problems, I've discovered when Descriptions and Lots are made, both will show up in the designated Props, Buildings, etc. when building new lots. If, for instance, if a wedding chapel model is used on a wedding chapel park lot, when selecting props to use on a new lot project, both the wedding chapel description and the wedding chapel lot will show up in the props to choose from. The names are the same "wedding chapel" because one is the description, and the other is the lot which uses that model's description, so the prop list simply shows both as the same name, but with different numbers. Those numbers correspond with the lot's file name and the description's file name in my plugin directory. You know this, but anyone else reading might not, but do now. So with this said, does it matter WHICH one I choose when using the wedding chapel on a new lot being created? What are the repercussions of using the one with the id number on the original wedding chapel lot's file, and later deleting that original wedding chapel lot? If there are any repercussions, how can we avoid this, without having to go back and forth to our plugin directories to figure out which number goes to which wedding chapel shown in the prop list to make sure it is the description being used for the new lot instead of another lot which used the chapel?
