1. How do I download something. I did but it didn't work.

2. Is a megatrapolis a whole region or city?

3. Do you need smaller communities with many people to support a megatrapolis?

Hi there ZJG! Let me see what I can do to answer your questions.

1. Extract your downloads to my documents/SimCity 4/Plugins.

2. I am not sure. Are you asking for the definition of the word? I would assume it would be similar to a metropolitan area, which comprises of several cities within an area/region.

3. You don't need them, but you can have them if you so wish.

The thing is, if you are not playing with any demand mod, then it would make it a lot easier to have cities surrounding your downtown... or you big city area.. .or whatever you wanna call it. Now it really depends on what kind of look you are currently looking for your region. You could have a region full of skyscrapers, which is no challenge at all (given the amount of mods) or you could go for realism, in which case I suggest checking some City Journals for ideas...

1. Download your files into a separate downloads folder subordinate to your Documents folder. Do not download anything into the game download folder, it has a different purpose. And when you get them, unpack them in place, and follow any instructions that came with it or were on the download page.
   
2. There is no such thing. A megalopolis is a large city with a population of over 1,000,000.
   
3. The game is like an artist's canvas. A region can contain anything in the urban line from small agricultural cities to huge metropolitan cites. Best is when you have a good mix of several kinds of municipalities across the entire region.
