So, i'm wanting to build a good CBD...

But I can't seem to keep the high customer demand, if at all...

Is there a MOD for this? Or anyway I can sort it out?

I don't know if I made myself clear enough or if that just didn't make sense to me...

I can build things... BUT - the customer bit - low, medium, high - always stays at low, no matter what I do. Will that change it?

Customers is basically the amount of traffic that passes in front of the zone. I think it's the same stat as the Traffic Noise stat is for residential except it's good for commercial.

If your buildings are occupied and you're happy with them you don't have to worry about customers. If you want your zones to have higher customers put them on roads that have a lot of traffic. High customers should increase Desirability and should make it easier to grow buildings, but other than that it doesn't really matter. :)

See, i've done that with a few 'town' type blocks...

BUT - no matter what happens, I can create a residential 'city' in one block, connect it to another - the number of customers doesn't increase...

Put the dense residential area on the way to the industrial areas - and again, nada. :(

Place them next to a road/avenue that has 500+ commuters on it and you'll see high customer demand.

So I guess your 'city' is a bit too small for high customers.

In my CJ, I place the CBD in the middle of everything and made the commuters HAVE to navigate through the CBD, so customers register medium/high in the CBD.

I also find that its the CS$$ and CS$$$ that gets affected by high customers, leading to an outbreak of low-job producing Boutiques :O
