    Hi,

    I need help/a confirmation with the NWM. Is it possible to build an intersection with two- and three-tile NWM networks (i.e an Maxis AVE-4 and a TLA-5, or a MAVE-6 and a Maxis Road)? If so, how? When I drag a network across another (a 2- or 3-tile NWM) to intersect, it does not work. Thanks!

    All those intersections are indeed possible (with the exception of a MAVE-6 ending at a Maxis Road in a T-intersection, as the number of lanes doesn't add up), but only in the context where both networks are orthogonal (non-diagonal). If either network is diagonal, the NWM network will destablize and turn into its base network at the intersection, as we haven't added support for that yet.

    They work simply by dragging the networks through one another just like any normal intersection. When you say that the intersection does not work, just how does it not work? There's a myriad of possibilities, and more specific information (and ideally, a screenshot) would be necessary to help you further.

    @Tarkus:

    What I mean by 'It doesn't work' is that when I drag, say, a Maxis Road-2 across a TLA-5 or a MAVE-6 (or anything that is from the NWM and is 2 or 3 lanes), the road turns red as I drag it across the NWM network, and it says 'unsuitable area to build network' or one of the messages like that. However, looking at other CJs, I see that it is possible. Is there anything I'm doing wrong when creating such intersections? Thanks!

    By the sounds of it you've got two things causing this issue.

    A. You're using the old Road Turning Lanes mod included in the NAM (Which is fine, I use it too).

    B. You're dragging another road parallel to the NWM network within three tiles.

    The NWM and the RTL mod don't play nice. In fact, there's a fair bit of workaround code to get them working together (Originally, using the NWM would require uninstallation of the RTL mod due to the archaic way the code for the RTL mod is written).

    The most simple solutions are to move the parallel road further away from the NWM network or use TuLEPs intersections.

    It sounds to me like you're trying to create the intersection right at the starter. You need to drag the NWM network out some away from the starter and make the intersection along this extended stretch.

    If it's still giving you "unsuitable grade" errors after that, it sounds like you probably have an outdated controller somewhere in your plugins that's interfering with proper NWM functionality.
