SC4 Plug-In Manager Runtime Error

Hi, Everyone!

I have a trouble, can anyone help me?

This is the trouble:

I want to open my SC4 Plug-In Manager. But, once i open it, the plug-in manager doesn't opened but an error message that said:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error

Runtime Error!

Than, i search for the program and i didn't find it. Than, i reinstall the Plug-In Manager and nothing change. Even i check my BAT and LE, still nothing happen. It has become something so annoying! Please, help me!

I already try anything to repair it, and the Plug-In Manager still doesn't work and i still need help right now.

Go to the Microsoft site and download the C++ run time package. Considering the age of the program you probably want the one for 2003, but I think any one should do it. Development libraries are usually not included in cut-down versions of operating systems, which is why you should always pay the premium to the top of the line version.

Jason leo I think you may have missed the plugin manager update unicode

thanks for the help, but i still can't use the Plug-In Manager. They still said:

Runtime Error!

Program: Program Files\Maxis\Simcity4Deluxe\Apps\SC4PluginMan.exe

This Application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

In addition to the fix, did you download the C++ Runtime from Microsoft? (You aren't running on a MAC, I trust?)

yes, i'm not running on a mac, however, i also already try to download C++ Runtime from Microsoft and it still doesn't work, what happen ?

Simple. Microsoft's C++ is non-standard and full of lock-ins. Can you run this program with a windows emulator? Boot Camp or something? I suspect it won't run on a MAC without a virtual Windows environment. If you are running OS/X you could try wine 1.5.3.
