new mod?

Last night i had a lovely city growing, 38k sims, plenty of commercial and industry and almost 75% of a large tile covered, i added the skunk works and -wow!- it actually worked, then i went and put a plane and tank factory on and the residential demand vanished!, nuts, wont do that again!, i'm surprised how little military it takes to stop people moving in.

What would be help full if someone could come up with a mod that keeps the residential demand up despite any military additions.

i'm no programmer so i've no idea how to go about that sort of thing-perhaps one of the many geniui who write all those great BATs could help out.

Also, the STEX is not the only place for military stuff. The BSC LEX has a bunch of military stuff but be wary of dependencies (files you have to download in order to make the lot work).

i cleared it up by taking the two factories off, that resumed the residential demand, too late though i ran out of room!, pity i wanted to replace a lot of industry that had been abandoned.

Well, using the extra cheats dll command moolah you could have bumped your treasury to anything you wanted. You shouldn't take a hit because of some experimental lot.
