I dont understand the question. Are you asking about games that already have mass transit that are better than SimCity 4?
Or... Are you asking if there are any games that are better than SimCity 4 that could use mass transit but dont? Or...Something else?

you could try a demo of locomotion, thats based around mass transit. mainly trains,buses,planes,ships. the transport networks are more flexible but the graphics are a bit dated and you dont really build cities either

yea, i wanted to know if there were games that have a better mass transit management than simcity 4 (cause my greatest deception in sim city 4 is that we can't make subway lines or bus lines, the sims drive the subway/buses as their own cars) and thanks!

i love the new transportation options in SC4...they are the best out of any simcity of course. However, i think that the transportation options could have been even better, i mean just look at the brilliant ideas on STEX, could the developers of the game come up with that?? i have also been looking for a good transportation simulator, or city simulator, but i have not found any worthy, none to compare with simcity

Hmmm... That's a tough one... I'll take a peek for you.

1. Most other games which offer all the concepts of SC4 practically don't exist or haven't been tried out.
2. I'd say the better versions for mass trasit would be the classics like; Transport Tycoon, locomotion, industry giant etc. However, like some one else said the city-building was limited.
3. Other games where city building is adapted like the AOE series, Empire Earth, Civilisation concentrated playing the game either on a grander scale or a much smaller scale than SC4 - thus, there was either no point or if the developers added more transit, the games would be much more technical.

I think for now the transit system is ok with me - I just hope it's better in the next city-building game. Whether it be SC5, City Life, Tycoon City... Whatever! lol.

Depends what you mean. There are games like Transport Tycoon and Traffic Giant which are dedicated to ttransport so are better than SimCity.

I also hope that the transit options for City Life and Tycoon City are as good or hopefully better than SimCity.

There's actually a game out there that deals with mass transit itself... But it is an older game.. Called Traffic Giant.. I am unsure if it plays on xp or not, would have to look.

But the game deals with a goal of getting a majority of the traffic off the roads and onto your transportation system..
