Did anyone find this strange message in SC4?

When I clicked on the Central Library, the SFX might have said "put your Jesus Christ away", with they "put your" and "Jesus Christ away" being 2 different voices. I'm not saying that Maxis is a satanic corporation or that the game should be boycotted, but did anyone else notice that slight resemblance? Of course they're talking Simlish but did anyone else notice?

I've just listened to this about 20 times, and can understand where you're coming from.

But to be honest, if I hadn't read what you think is being said beforehand, then that wouldn't have even crossed my mind. I would have said it's something more like "put your books away".

It reminds me of the time years ago when The Beatles were accused of putting subliminal messages on their records (yes I'm that old !). To hear the messages you had to play the records backwards, but it was subsequently found to be untrue.

I think sometimes you can hear things which aren't even there, just your brain playing tricks on you.

Unless of course that the guys at Maxis are pagans and devil worshippers lol.

Thanks for bringing this up though, I've never really listened that closely before. Gonna have to check out some of the other SFX now.

I believe its an April Fool Joke.. and if it happened anytime earlier.. it probably just a kid and or nerd with waaaayyy too much time on their hands, I wouldn't take it too seriously.. hell McAfee Anti-virus firewall would report that someone was trying to access my computer thru Simtropolis....

It's the 'Main Library' you get as a reward for having a certain amount of local libraries in your city.

But I think you get the same SFX when you query any library.

^Yes, everything in the game (except for the UI obviously) is in Simlish, the language of the Sims.
