I have a .SC4M file that I would like to save as a .png file without the grid lines. Is this possible?

Basically I would like to get a greyscale image from this .SC4M file so I can make it into an old looking map with Photoshop.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi SimCoug,

Removing the gridline from a SC4M file is only possible with Terraformer, AFAIK.

The gridline only affects the overall view, not the greyscale 16-bit PNG file of course.

    Hope it helps,

I have Mapper - so it is not possible to get a greyscale 16-bit PNG file using that? Thank you for your quick response!

    Hi SimCoug,

Sorry if it wasn't clear (beer probably, but yesterday was so dry !).

Mapper can export a 16-bit PNG greyscale file.

Mapper can export a "preview" of the map but always gridded.

Terraformer can do the same, but you have the possilibity to remove the grid before generating your preview.

If some more question, do that quickly as I'm still sober !
