NAM installation help

So I followed all the steps listed in the readme and instructions about 4 times and it works, until I press play on the speed things. Then the next button I click on the whole game freezes. Am I doing something wrong? Does anyone have this problem?

Well, there's hardly any information to work with, so it may be difficult to help you.

Have you removed the NAM and checked whether the problem persists?

Have you just installed the NAM four times after another (possibly with different options chosen each time), or have you cleaned your plugins folder before the next install?

Have you installed into an otherwise empty plugins folder, or could there be remainders of old NAM installations floating around?

Does the problem occur when you load an existing city, or does it also occur on an empty city tile that's untouched so far?

Do you use any plugins that might possibly conflict with the NAM?

Have you checked running the game in an empty sandbox city with ONLY a fresh NAM installation and nothing else in your plugins folder?

Depending on the conditions and the occurrence of the problem, it may be possible to draw conclusions which lead to the cause of the problem.

I have removed the nam and the game works fine without it.

Each time I reinstalled the nam I made sure that everything was deleted out of the folders.

I've tried it on a new city and current city and the same thing happens in both.

The only plugin I use is a money tree. could that be effecting it? I'll try taking that out and see if it works.

You wouldn't happen to be running Mac OS X Lion and/or the Aspyr SC4 Universal Binary Patch, would you? There are known issues between that operating system/patch setup and the NAM. See this thread. Unfortunately, we have no idea why it's happening, other than the fact that Rosetta support was removed from Lion.

I don't know how well-modded the so-called "Money Tree" is . . . if it's poorly modded (which it very well could be), it could also be problematic.

I am having some problems with the NAM installation as well. I believe that I have correctly followed the instructions included in the download. However, I am having some problems with draggable GLR (nothing plops) and also, the game has crashed a few times. Below is a screen shot of the plugin subfolder containing the NAM files.

You appear to be missing NetworkAddonMod_GroundLightRailDrag_Plugin.dat, which is the file that contains everything for draggable GLR.
