So I was wondering if anyone has any ideas about this little conundrum: I received a Thai version of Cities XL 2012 for PC. I live in Japan, so any version of the game is difficult to get (I'm old and haven't worked up the guts to just download it from Amazon). My worry is this: if I open the game and play it, will the entire thing be in Thai? Or will it have English on it? Will I need to change my computer over to Thai to install it (which I simply won't do)? Should I just return the game and try to hunt down either a Japanese or an English version?

Thanks for anyone who takes the time to consider and answer my questions. I appreciate it!

    Hi,

If the game you got is a Thai version, it should be entirely in Thai, yes. However, when you install it there might be an option to select English as a language, and then the game should run in English (for example). I don't remember exactly how it is, though - there might be no such option.

At any rate, you shouldn't need to change the language of your entire PC.

God, I had no idea they have this game in Thai...

Yes, they do! I ended up opening the box (all in Thai) and flipped through the instruction booklet (also all Thai) and held my breath and installed the game. It works fine, and actually does not have a Thai option for installation. There was English, French, German, Spanish and (*maybe*) Italian. There was definitely a fifth language I can no longer *clearly* recall. Aside from my weak and old graphics card, the game runs fine on my laptop. Thanks for your answer!
