Hey guys, so I'm new to this modding thing, and I've learned a few things here and there, anyways when downloading a mod, some of them will have 2 downloads 1 with a maxis night and the other with a Dark N night? or something like that, anyways I searched for the Dark N night part, and found theirs a mod that apparently makes your night time look better? something along that line, so I thought it was cool, downloaded it, installed to the default path it gave me (C:/Users/Documents/Sim City 4/Plug-ins) and when running the game, the dark time still looked the same and the buildings did not light up at night? can anyone help me with this? also just wondering, is their a mod for the Twin Towers? and a Nascar stadium? with cars driving around in it? anyways I hope you guys can help me on those! thanks :)

there is a slight difference between the Maxis and Dark nite mod. for example its more dark blue-ish then purple and it's a lot longer than the maxis night. also the dark nite mod only extends the time when night shows(from 8or9pm-7am) It DOES NOT extends the lights on buildings.(the only flaw to this mod)

regarding the Twin Towers landmark version reward version New world trade center (WARNING: all require dependencies)

regarding the NASCAR stadium, there officially isn't one but there is one by AGS here

BTW thanks for helping me find a F1 racetrack here

This is an older item and the links in the Readme are probably out of date. The Simgoober pack is now included in this prop pack. As for all of the WTC packs, if you use the STEX search function and search for "WTC", they will all show up.

Are you sure? I just tried and nothing showed up? you are talking about the search bar in the top right corner and in the category of "ST EXchange" right? if not, could you please address me to the correct search bar xD

It would've probably helped you a lot if you typed in WTC instead of WCT, I just searched the STEX using WTC and it brought back 35 results......typing WCT into the search box revealed 0 results. You just might find whatcha need in there!

    Welcome to Simtropolis...

i pretty new to simcity 4, how do you make the roundabouts

First, you will need NAM if you don't have it, which means you'll need an updated version of SC4 Deluxe.

With NAM loaded, the road and street roundabouts are made by dragging them in a 2x2 square. For one-ways, you'll drag a 3x3 square (with an empty space in the middle). The roundabouts will form automatically.

    Roundabouts.jpg

For avenue roundabouts, there will be an icon in the Road Menu to select. They will be a piece that is plopped on the ground.

Also, for future consideration, it is better to start a new topic if posting in a question that is different then the topic being discussed.
