Copying cities from Windows to Mac

I've bought Simcity 4 Deluxe for the mac. But I had it on Windows.

I was wondering if I could copy my plug-ins and cities to the map on my Apple. Or would that cause problems with NAM etc. ?

Everything should be fine. There is only a small selection of plugins that won't work for mac, and by small I mean 2. The only one you need to worry about is a nam file, but that will depend on your operating system. What are you running on your mac? And if the other, non nam file is in your plugins, it won't do anything bad, so there is no need to worry about it.

Other than that, it's just a simple copy and paste from windows to mac. I would suggest restarting your plugins, as now would be a great time to go through and remove anything you don't need any more. Maybe also reinstall the nam too, makes it less likely that those files won't transfer properly.

Good that it won't give a lot of problems.

I have a lot of plug-ins so it will be a lot of work to reinstall everything.

I could copy the original folder so that if it doesn't work I could easily copy the old folder.

I am running SC4 on Snow Leopard.
