Dependancys! I don't get them. You try to download something and it says you need this. Then you download this and it says you need that. I find myself just downloading all day because all the plugins have dependancys.

So with that said i want to build my first airport. I've only ever used the maxis one and i want custom runways an d terminals.

So my question is, what are the best downloads to start practicing airports? Preferrably without dependancys.

I also want to know if these airports actually work or are they eye candy? Do planes taxi and take off etc?

The ones by the AC team for example "RMIP 2 Small Airport Edition Vol 1" would be eye candy but through Vol 4 it would be UDI enabled with NO dependences. Most custom airport pieces around here will be eye candy or if they plop a runway piece to see airplanes take off. That`s the only functional pieces that you can see planes take off. It`s weird for planes to sit at the gate or parking spot like the engines shut down or fuel crisus.

RMIP and Ace terminals are the some of the best things that are out right now.

As far as functionality, custom airports are not, however, what Iike to do is build my main airport wherever, and then in each city that needs an airport, I plop this:

It acts like an airport providing for a cap relief and better demand, but it is only a 1x1 lot.
