Lost round neighborhood

I once saw on one lecture a picture of a residential area, which consisted of house lots put next to each other in the shape of a circle. There was one road leading out from the middle of this circle and all the houses had access to the center (of course). This circle was surrounded by grass fields and there were several of these circles in the area. Could you possibly point me where and by what name this place is? It *might* be in Denmark or The Netherlands. The lecturer didn't have better information :/
