SC4 Becoming Unresponsive - Lion Problem?

So I have been running Lion for about a month now, and up until this weekend SC4 has been running perfectly as it did before the upgrade. Obviously I had some common Mac bugs here and there, but that was something I got over. This weekend was the first time in about 3 weeks that I actually got around to playing it since the upgrade. After installing some add-ons I missed during my 3-week absence, I loaded up the game, went in to my city and took care of my usually to-dos. After about 10 mins of playing, I noticed that my time was paused, so I went down to change it and the game became unresponsive (Rainbow Wheel). I had to force quit, and every time I go back there to change the time, it becomes unresponsive! I can do anything I normally can but when I go to change the time setting, I get the rainbow wheel!

I am running Lion as stated, I have installed the April 2007 Patch, and as I said before it has been working fine until yesterday. I suspected that it might be something wrong with the files I had just added to the Plugins folder, but when I removed those files temporarily, the problem persisted. Has anyone had this issue before with the time simulator? Can anyone think of a solution? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Its got something to do with the NAM, more specifically the Bridge Controller. We don't know what it is, and why its doing it, but I believe that if you take out a file from the NAM with "Bridge Controller" in the file name then it should work.

OK, thanks hamish. I haven't upgraded to the new NAM yet, do you think doing that could help?
