Hey everyone, I have a question. Is there any chance to have many train skins in my city, for example have many kinds of trains on tracks in one city? Is there any plugin that I should download to have a multi-train effect? :)

I don't think so. I believe there is only one table slot of each of heavy passenger, heavy freight, and light rail.

Actually, it's possible, with any automata mod at that. You can only have a single 'replacement' mod at a time, but you can have as many additional vehicles as you like. For example, I have the default maxis freight loco overwritten with a CSX livery, but I have many additional units for Union Pacific, Burlington Northern, Santa Fe, etc. Not every download does this, so be sure to read the enclosed documentation/the STEX description to make sure there are files for both vanilla replacement and additional vehicles.

The only thing I don't think is possible is to mandate the entire consist. For example, you (unfortunately) can't tell the game to generate an entire train of only CTA locomotives and cars, and another only MARTA rolling stock, etc. So if you do mix and max trains, be ready for funky combinations like this:

Yoshiisland pretty much summed it up. You could have multiple types of locomotives, but if you have different cars, they're going to be mixed.
