Longest running city?

I was just wanted to post this question........ What is the longest running city any of you have had (in sim years) I have been playing on and off for years but never really let my cities go that long before I ended up not playing for a while. And then when I start playing again I start all over.....

I haven't passed the 130 years milestone; as it was on a region I wasn't pleased enough with; so it didn't run any longer. I don't like running my cities too fast because that exhausts the landfill space, and I'm hesitant to place the waste-to-energy plants.

Technically you could leave it running 24/7 and get a long lasting city. It will eventually get a population of 0 and debt though.

I have one over 1000, and two which are over 500, but I can't remember the exact ages.

My longest-running city is Jamaica (as in Queens, New York), which has been running for 2023 years and has a population of 3.5 million Sims.

I have a city thats over the 500 year mark.I thing once it hits that, your pop stops. I have been stuck at 1.8 million for years
