Region View Large City missing strip

Hey everyone, I think this is my first post but I've been a member here forever. I recently got back into SC4 and rendered a new region to play with but I get these weird strips that are missing out of large cities. If I mix in medium or small cities they look fine. Opening the city, starting a city and saving doesn't help either, although once open the city is fine, it's not missing anything. Anyone have any thought what could be going on?

Attached is a pic of what's going on.

Thanks everyone.

A known issue, this happens when you use a custom resolution greater than 1500 pixels across. Lowering the resolution will fix this.

Not quite Jim. It's actually reported most often when the resolution is 1920x1200 or greater, but I have heard of instances where it doesn't occur.

Back in the day, this was often reported by those running the game at 1600x1200 (one of the game's resolution options). At a slightly lower 1599x1200 custom resolution, the effect would not be exhibited. For what it's worth...

So it seems that meeting or exceeding a vertical pixel count of 1200 causes the problem, independent of the horizontal pixel count.

Yes, it is a bug in the renderer. However, if you lower your resolution and open and save each tile, you can then move back up.

So if I have a 19 inch Laptop screen and when I play a game it cuts off the edges that make the screen rectangle when playing this game, does this mean I will never have to deal with this problem. I have high settings now on my laptop, but I do not experience the problem yet.

If your screen is 16:9 rather than 4:3 you need to use the

-customresolution:enabled -r<width>x<height>x<color depth>
