Why Didn't Simtropolis Try Better To Save Stuff?

Well, now I have noticed that creating a realistic airport is now impossible due to this new ST update from March. After that, it seems that a lot of things have disappeared from the STEX since the update. So are those Airport terminal files gone now, forever. Why couldn't they be saved? It really annoys me because I really wanted to make a realistic airport for my city. But now, things just keep disappearing from the STEX, maybe because of ST7. I know it ain't because they moved to the LEX, because it isn't on the LEX! And now here's a list of a few things that were very important for building an airport, but now are gone:

ACE Modular Airport Add on 1 ETC. go to https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=6231.0 and check on most of the links that say STEX on them and you'll get nothing, but you could a long time ago in February. They're gone! Oh but click on LEX and they are all available.

I got these 3 from Sim City 4 Airport (St. Petersburg International Airport) by Planne-Crash12000 on Youtube. Check the links yourself, they don't work! And I really needed them. vOh but the LEX had an update but still kept their files. What happened!? Are these packs gone for ever? If so, ST just went down hill, 'cause I can make another list of things that have disappeared from the STEX, but not much has disappeared from the LEX. In my opinion I just don't like the STEX anymore. On a scale from one to ten it would be a six, when before, when the search engines were good, I'd love the STEX. Too bad I guess.

Those links are in the old STEX format, it changed to a different format during the upgrade a short while ago. The files are on the STEX, but at a different address. Your best option of finding those files is doing a STEX search or using the converter.

The old version was getting a little long in the tooth and out of capacity. In case you hadn't noticed, it was suffering from old age. This revision is much better and more capable. I am sure the "lost" STEX files are probably there, but with a different URL. Everyone should try searching. If the STEX search fails, try the Advanced Search in Google.

Well, actually, the STEX lost the most needed airport file RMIP 2 Small Airport Edition Vol 2 and if you search, it can't be found, but all of the other RMIP files can be found, but the most depended on one vanished.

I've made a {post at SC4D} (where Voltaire, the person who originally uploaded the RMIP SAE set is still active) explaining the issue.

It's also possible that the file still exists, but is somehow not viewable to the public, or else it is at a different link. This would be something for the STEX administrators to look at.

Nice to see this 5-year old pack still generating interest

I've just re-uploaded RMIP-2 SAE Volume 2 here:

It's odd though, because this file did survive the upgrade... I updated its catalog link (along with the others) months ago. This disappearing act is post-upgrade.

As noted above, Ace's packages are still here, but the URLs have changed.
