sc4 update problem

this is a very special case, you see, the game won't update to 1.640.00 for some odd reason. every time i tried to nothing happend. this is what the patchlog says:

so what am i doing wrong?(before i installed this, i applied the sku1 patch)

Ps:i have a no-cd patch currently(because i have no cd-drive on my laptop)

also can you include a manual patch(.zip file) of the items because the automatic won't work.

Your problem is that you're using a no-CD patch. Not only will it likely cause problems with the game and some plugins, but ST doesn't support or suggest the use of them. Your best bet is to stop using it and, if you don't have one, buy a legal version.

I didn't say that i had an illegal version. i just said that im using a no-cd patch. anyway i have a legal version SC4 deluxe

That's where the problem is, the patches won't work on a modified .exe file.

Well, your illegal patch uses space needed by the other patches, so you'll never be able to do that.

The solution is to save your pennies and get yourself an external CD drive, probably with a USB connector.

A laptop these days without a CD/DVD drive is like a day without sunshine. Is it an old machine that just has a floppy?
