The Simtropolis app for iPhone

I recently just came across an app-maker for iPhone, and I was wondering if it were possible to create an iPhone app for the Simtropolis forums. After all, a good portion (i believe) of us own an iPhone and would like to access Simtropolis through an app than to go through the web browser.

I'm kinda halfway done with it, and I was wondering if you guys would let me release it

When you get it done, test it. Put is up as a beta somewhere, and let others test it. After you get it clear of problems, then I see no obstruction. This is a publicly accessible site.

Where you might run into problems is incompatibility with the coding language on the site, and whatever your are doing in your iphone.

There is an App for Simtropolis. It is called IPB or IPBoard. I use it and it works half the time, the other half I get Error 500 messages.

At the moment, you can create your own ST webclip icon so that you have a homescreen icon that will take you straight to ST.

Read this, it will tell you how to do it.

You will have to make your own icon. I might share what I created for my phone if you need ideas.

Seems to be an idea whose time has come. Good luck to all, and try to avoid uncaught errors. Errors on a PC are unforgivable, but on a phone it should probably be worse.

The latest update of IPB never gives me any errors. It might be because I learned to use it properly.

It also works for Minecraft forums at www.minecraftfoum.net I just tested it on my phone.
