converting the power lines into a network

Because any LOT carries current to neighbor buildings, the power lines are not really needed and an eyecandy-set has the same effect.

Isn't it possible to convert the powerline tool into a network tool providing pathed network tiles?

I've toyed with this notion myself. I honestly believe it's not possible though, as the Powerlines are actually hardcoded to some degree, more so than the networks in general.

Is it possible to make a lot with a little sign on it that says, 'Underground Cable', than connect it up that way?
Or, change the wire towers to little signs that say,'Underground Cable'?

It may be possible to add power pole puzzle pieces to the NAM because powerlines and waterpipes are handled like networks.

I am not going to try that out.

hmmm... some places the powerlines are hid underground, would it be possible to make underground lines? I'm not talking about just haveing the pole saying that there are underground powerlines there, but an actual underground powerline, like the waterpipes...

IMO it sould be a dirt track - realistically the dirt streets mod is fine it's just when you get to wealth-problems... the whole mod just doesn't flow when changing from dirt-street-red brick.

 

Perhaps the dirt track could be used as much as pedestrians... like the PED malls?

 

I would like to help if this gets moving but my coding skills suck... Badly.

Yeah, they should make it like this. For instance, over here in LA some streets have power lines in their median. Large ones that tower over and harm the people living near them, lol. But yeah, I just put them in for show. It looks kinda nice to me.
