    Hello, RichBOYZ.

I assume that the Greefish Relief Map Generator you've showcased was not written by you?

I am currently reviewing this (dated but still good) software and expect to have a thorough review of it in the next week or so.

At first "blush", it looks like it is an excellent program for creating cartography-related base maps and I certainly will be using it for that purpose.

As to using it to create SC4 maps using SC4TF, I'm still debating the ease of use in doing that. I am currently working on a map that created with the generator and am editing in SC4TF. It's too early to say whether or not I believe the generator is good for SC4/SC4TF maps, but time will tell.

I am going to want to chat with you more about it and get your own opinion as well as what you've found as "short-cuts" and tricks.

    Thanks for starting this thread.

    Regards,

    Vandy

    Hello, RichBOYZ.

    Hello Vandy,

I assume that the Greenfish Relief Map Generator you've showcased was not written by you?

Yes you're right, the software aren't mine.

I am currently reviewing this (dated but still good) software and expect to have a thorough review of it in the next week or so.

Please do so, many height map, relief map and terrain generator in my collections but this one has clear advantages over the other.

At first "blush", it looks like it is an excellent program for creating cartography-related base maps and I certainly will be using it for that purpose.

Yes it was. Many programs I've been tested and seem this program has many functions, flexibility that i can manipulated.

As to using it to create SC4 maps using SC4TF, I'm still debating the ease of use in doing that. I am currently working on a map that created with the generator and am editing in SC4TF. It's too early to say whether or not I believe the generator is good for SC4/SC4TF maps, but time will tell.

I agreed with you, can not hoping best detail map come out from this software alone without a little help from GIMP, PHOTOSHOP & etc... and off course with SC4TERRAFORMER editing. As far as beginner concerned able to generate fast map image with height map capability is a bonus! They can sizing their map as larger as they wanted to.

I am going to want to chat with you more about it and get your own opinion as well as what you've found as "short-cuts" and tricks.

Please, i happy to chat with you regarding this program and also both opinion can be great thing!

    Thanks for starting this thread.

    Regards,

    Vandy
