A New SC4 Terraformer?

I understand that the SC4 Terraformer will not work with Windows 7. Are there any plans in the works to make a terraform program that allow those of us using this operating system, to be able to download and create our own maps? Thanks.

SC4 Terraformer DOES work with Windows 7. You need to install DirectX 9.0c and the required DLLs as listed in the readme, but it works perfectly.

Hello, Manicwhofan.

Just to give you some information, I very much doubt that SC4Terraformer will be updated or rewritten in the near term. The author of the application no longer has the source files for his application and I do not believe he is planning to do a rewrite or write a new application.

Having said that, I believe that SC4Terraformer is STILL THE PREMEIR terraforming application available to us mapmakers and will remain so for quite some time.
