Cannot download anything from Simtropolis

I am using ie7.Today, I find that I cannot download any files in Simtroplis. A board message will be appeared immediately.The error message is posted as below.

An Error Occurred

Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

[#10850.2] An internal error occurred. Please contact an administrator

I have tried to download again and again but I still failed to do so. Could everyone help me? Thanks!

PS.I am using the top big green "Download" box.

I haven't experienced this error personally, but I think I've heard about it before. You could try logging out and back in again, but if this fails to fix the problem, the cause may be due to the outdated browser you are using.

It is recommended that you use the latest edition of your browser to view the site. If you are using IE 7, there may be some compatibility issues that are causing the error you experienced. Try updating your browser to a newer version (preferably the latest). But if problems persist, I recommend you report this problem to a site administrator.

I have been downloading for years. Since they updated the website is when it has stated. Any suggestions?

As a check, I just downloaded the SPAM from the top of the STEX. No problem. This leads to the questions of what are you running on your machine:

Operating System and version, including updates

Browser

If you are using some old version of IE, I might say I am not surprised.

I experienced the same thing for about 10 days not so long ago. Every file I tried to download took me to the same page......but then 4 days ago it all just suddenly worked again.

Dirk, I need help. I can access the main board of the STEX forums but I can't get past that. I also can't download in the STEX. It happens randomly. It just so happened that everything is back to normal but I think it will happen again later. I get this error:

Exact same problem. I experienced the same issue with cities in motion exchange which also has a similar look and feel. This is a serious issue and is very frustrating. I have the latest browser, latest updates Windows 7 64bit. This issue has nothing to do with my machine.
