Hi all, firstly I would like to apologize for my poor English grammar and also the wrong topic name...XP

I just read the A Guide to the Operation of the Traffic Simulator(Transit Switch Entry Costs and Station Capacities) and I was thinking:is there already a plugin that will change the station capacity as what mentioned in that topic?

    Not that I know of.

You see, such a plugin needs to "know" the IID of the station in question in order to override its stats with new ones. Since there are thousands of custom stations out there and people keep releasing new ones, such a plugin would actually be a long, long list, and it would require constant updates.

It might be possible to write a tool of some kind that crawls through all installed exemplar files, identifies those that have some kind of traffic switch property, and automatically extracts and changes the corresponding files to override the original settings, but I have no idea whether such a tool is actually feasible.

However, you can use iLive's Reader or LEProp or SC4Tool (and, I guess, PIM-X) to change the values of any station you are using by hand. I fear that's the most realistic option.

The ilive reader was confusing when I first tried it, but after experimenting with it for a while, I found it to be THE most important item in my game.

As an "end user" (that is, I don't create lots) who enjoys making smaller towns and cities it is my view there are two games here; (1) SC4 without the ilive reader, and (2) SC4 with the ilive reader.

Being there are a fair number of lots with strange specifications, the more downloaded material one uses, the more difficult it is to maintain functional sanity. Some lots make the game too difficult, and some make it too easy. To keep the game balanced, there is nothing more useful than learning to use the ilive reader; and I very much thank ilive for producing such an excellent tool!

One will also need the ilive reader guide:

    O I see....

Although I know how to modify the station capacity, but I prefer using the mod which provided by some moder, such as NAM,RTMT,SFBT or the other.

Anyway,I look forward for that plugin and thanks for your reply.....:D
