Big problem with bushes

Not a topic I know very much about, but:

Do you have any tree controllers installed, like the ones made by Cycledogg? If you are using a tree controller, the mod may be set up in a way that only bushes will appear on the type of ground you are trying to cover with trees.

I know that some tree controllers are set up to plop different tree (or bush) models based on the elevation and orientation of the terrain. Thus, if you're "painting" your mountains with the god mode tree brush, you'll experience that e.g. pines will plop on one side of the mountain, while small bushes will cover the other side, and so on.

Hopefully (and usually) the read me contains more throrough information on this, including how to make the land suitable for trees to appear instead of just bushes.

The default God Mode tree brush plants deciduous trees, pine trees, and bushes depending on terrain height, slope, and other factors (I suppose you are using Maxis flora).

With other flora, for example with Cycledogg's trees, you can complement forests planted in God Mode with trees plantes in Mayor Mode. Mayor Mode trees can be planted anywhere as far as I know. Since all God Mode trees Cycledogg made are also available in Mayor Mode, you have practically unlimited possibilities.

However, to my knowledge nobody has made all Maxis trees available as Mayor Mode trees so far. There is one Mayor Mode flora brush by Pegasus, which uses the default Maxis bushes, but I am not aware of a similar mod that would allow you to plant Maxis deciduous trees and pines in Mayor mode. Well, you can plant them, but they take quite a while to grow, and they can be a bit too expensive if you want to create an entire forest.

EDIT: Ok, Heitomat beat me by a minute.

Should be these two for the tree models:

Part One

Part Two

You'll also need the tree controller, as mentioned in the description text.

There is actually a mod that lets you have all the full grown Maxis trees available in Mayor Mode. I've been using it for years, and you don't have to wait for the trees to grow over time. I'm currently in the process of trying to search for it (it's been a while since it was released, probably a good 7 years!) When I find the mod I'll supply it here. :)
