OK, I cannot wait much longer to start this. Sitting around twiddling my thumbs isnt doing so good, so Ill make a 12th, AI team. They will be terrible, someone for everyone else to prey on. Picture the Mighty Ducks in those movies before they get good. That's my goal.

So, without further ado, its time for...
THE DRAFT
Here's how it will work. You will choose 1 Trait for your team to have. Each will have different pros and cons associated with them. Choose carefully, this will decide which kind of players you will get.

Trait Effect it has on your team Pros Cons

1) Checking/Toughness You'll be able to push the other teams around. Your players will have a minimum Checking/Toughness/Agression average. A definate edge in along the boards. Could get the puck off a weaker opponent. Most times a very tough player lacks in other skills. Just a warning...

2) Speed You'll be able to out-race your opponent and blaze past their defence for a breakaway. Your players will have a minimum Speed/Acceleration/Agility average. This one's for you if you want to blow past your opponents with sheer speed. The opposite of the first trait, the speedy players usually lack the physical play.

3) Shooting Ever want to launch hard or accurate shots on goal? This one's for you then. Your player will have to have a minimum Shot Power OR Shot Accuracy rating. It'll give you an advantage on the scoresheet, for sure. Goalies cant stop the blazing shots. Your defence may move in too far, get caught, and lead to many breakaways, or worse...

4) Defensive You're not going to lose if you dont allow many goals. You will play with a trapping team, with no restrictions on players' ratings. Like I said before, you cant lose if you dont allow goals, although...you can if you dont score many goals...

5) Passing You can pass the puck around to get the goalie moving and then blast a one-timer past him. Your players will have a minimum Passing rating. One-timer's are an effective way to score, and passing the puck can really work marvels on opposing Defences. Tossing the puck around could lead you to give the puck away to the other team. Not good.

6) Young Guns Your youthful team will have the energy to move in the later parts of games, and will improve significantly should there be a Season 2. Players will have a maximum age. Your players could make huge gains in ratings if there is a second season. Theyre a little rough around the edges and lack the experience of a veteran team.

7) Vet's Your players know the ins and outs of the league. Their experience and timely scoring could be vital. They will have a minimum age. Can't beat experience. Retirement could be a problem after Season 1, and they could run out of gas late in a game.

You will also have priorities to put your picks into. You may want to get a great goalie. You may want good forwards. I dont know, it's your call. You, the GM's have to rank these in order of importance to you.
