Help with NAM mod

Hi, this is my first post, i hope it makes sense to you:

I have just installed the NAM mod (version 29). All the things pop up fine, apart from a few without icons.

I wanted to use the road wide turn tool, so I built a road and then clicked on the tool, but then my cursor suddenly turns red, and then the game shuts down.

This happened with pretty much every other tool there was, so I guess all the good stuff is ruled out for me.

Unless, of course, anybody out there could help me?

Is this the first time you've installed any version of NAM? If not, you may not have completely removed an earlier version or have other conflicting files. See this post for more information... (Link) - Scroll down to #1.

Also, if you have never installed NAM before, do you have an updated Rush Hour or Deluxe version of the game?

Simbuilder, did you download someting called 'Supercento de transportes' from Capitalsimcity? It can be in conflict with NAM.

No, I have never downloaded anything other than NAM, and i have tried NAM a few times over the past few years. Maybe I have the wrong game version?

I don't really know much about my version, but I don't have avenues like other people, just streets and roads. I just have SimCity 4.

It's in a silver EA case with classics written on the top. Is it possibly outdated?

Otherwise, I can't get it running, and I hope somebody could help.

You need Sim City 4 Deluxe or Sim City 4 + Rush Hour expansion to use NAM

Sounds like you have the original SimCity 4. NAM will not function correctly with that version. You'll need to pick up Rush Hour or Deluxe.
