Hi guys,

Google couldn't help me out - so here I am again, with another question..

Is it me, or are there simply NO glr-bridges? It would be cool to have real glr bridges crossing over the canals, for example.

Although your answer does help me with the 'water issues', thank you for that, I was actually wondering if there exists such a thing as a CANAL GLR bridge? 1.gif

I don't think canals count as water for the game.  You should be able to use puzzle pieces, but I don't think there are eny with water under them.  Try sending a PM to the maker of your canal mod.

Which canal set are you using?

Most of them include generic bridge pieces that you plop on either side of the GLR tracks to make a low bridge.

If you want a bridge that looks like barge traffic could pass underneath, you would probably have to transition to Elevated Rail to cross the canal.  Many canal sets contain overhanging pieces to plop water under something like an El Rail bridge.

As mentioned, canals appearing to go under GLR can be accomplished by using el-rail and the under-bridge extension pieces included in most canal sets. Here;s an example using SimGoober's set...

I wonder if you can get a bridge with GLR and an Avenue or Road

One of my cities is separated by a river and if have GLR in an avenue but would have to separate it to cross the River.

I don't think my Sims would appreciate the extra long commute!!!
