Rocky Edge Region

This is my new region, Rocky Edge. No major cities, just rural towns and an industrial city. I am using the dirt roads mod, several of Peg, CSX and Nexis lots. I also am using Oppie's canal kit and train mod. I have a couple of other mods also but no money cheats (right now anyways). I will be developing a Naval Port soon and a couple of major cities. More pics to follow.

Bluffton, the mountain town. This is the residential area. Sims settled here because of the clean mountain air and clear river and lake. They can fish all day long if they would like to. They can go mountain climbing or sit on their back decks and enjoy the peace and quiet.

These are some of the farms in Bluffton (CSX farms of  course).

The old covered bridge that connects the residents to the farming area. Residents use the train for travel.

Tuffton, the industrial city that provides some jobs to the residents of Bluffton. This is Peg's seaport and industrial lots. Nothing special about this city except that it provides jobs and garbage pickup for nearby towns.

Singleton, a waterfront community. This is where everyone comes for relaxation in the sun. They come for the beaches or the waterfront plazas.

Everyone enjoying a day at the beach or walking along the waterfront and trails.

Enjoying the piers and a leisurely day on the water. Wish I was there!!!

Well, that's it for now. I will update with more growth or more cities. Hope you enjoyed looking at my new region. It's taken me alot of time to learn terraforming and thanks to Peg's lots, I can now have beautiful waterfronts. The Navy port is next to get developed in the region so bye for now. Thank you for the great comments. Due to power going out while working on my naval port and not saving while working on it,  I lost 80% of my city (5 hours of terraforming) (anyone feel sorry for me yet....lol). I will bring updates hopefully tomorrow.

 

Cobb: Your wonderful buildings will be in my major city soon to come. Back to the drawing board.

Well, time for an update. I forgot to include pics of the waterfalls and lake in Bluffton so here they are.

Bluffton Lake

This is my newest additon to my region, West's Naval Base. This is the arial view.

This is West's Island Park. Thanks to Peg for his wonderful waterfront plaza lots.

This is Sunset Beach and Yacht club. This is where everyone comes to play!!

This is the Shmail-Jenx district. Love these buildings and so do my sims!!!

This is the Naval Yard and industrial park. It's still a work in progress. After losing most of this city today, I wasn't able to get everything finished. Will continue updating as more growth happens. Thanks for taking time to look at my pics and I did resize all pics but if they are too big, please delete and I will resize again. This is newest city to my region, Marysville. It's a beach resort community. Thanks for Goldiva and Peg for making it possible to have such wonderful waterfronts.

This is where some of the wealthier sims live.

This is an update on West Naval Base. I redesigned the park. I think it looks better now.

As you can see, it has grown alot. We now have an airport and a few taller buildings. We also have a cruise ship port.
