This is my new city. Its takin me like 7 days to get the terraphorming and highways done.

And bojje not sure what ure asking but here is how i made my region.

 

1. started a new region and that starts off as all flat no watter no hills.

2. Next i decided where my ocean was going to be and put that in

3. next i terraphormed all the mountains from the flat land.

4. I added the 4 islands you see (big one will be for the rich , the other 3 will be a prison island, NASA, and a Freedom park.

5. I put in the 2 rivers (i might ad more later)

6. the highways.

 

And familyguy....sure as long as i get to see ure city journel on it  

ill probally upload it to the regions tonite or tomarrow.

one sugestion- that little island that has four highway brideges- i think that's a little bit of overkill. i think i'd keep two, the northern and southern bridges, and lose the other two. but of course it's your city- you can do as you wish! looking forward to seeing this progress.

Ahhh~~ the city of angels, don't make it a Lost Angeles. I know everyone else has said it but there right, your terraforming is really good! Anyway i hope it's gonna look good. Can't wait to see more!

Thanks guys, the funny thing is the only thing i really like on it are my mountains....the rivers and islands kinda bug me butt i meesed with them for like 4 hours and couldnt make them look any better, so i said oh well maybe once i start building it will look great.

 

I liked my first region alot but my city design kinda sucked and i didnt want to demolish it all and start over so i made a new one.

also id like to post my region so you guys can DL it but i dont have a copy of it without my highways and some cities named because of the highways...any way around this ?

Worked on my first city last night. Having some problems. There is some abandonment due to no jobs....but the population is 10730 and the com jobs are 5451 and inds 5647. So i actually have more jobs than pop and not only that but some commer is abandoned and many farms havnt devloped. Any clues? (and taxes are at 5% there is no air water pollution,no crime, great education and health)

How high is your education level, what helps for me is starting a new city so you get your

regional population up. When you have at least 100k people most problems should go

away. But why don't you show us some pics, so we can see how it looks now!

Well, the only possible reason I can think of is transsport. Have you looked at commute times times?

Here is south shade ville Population 10,000 something. You can see all the no work signs but there are many undevloped farms and lots of commercial is low low developed or a few complety empty .

I know this is off-topic but no matter how hard I try, I still cant get any grain elevators. Even though no-one else wants them, I do because they actually have them in many places. How do you get the grain elevators?

I like your style of play, you have towns and they are filled with parks and greenery. One thing to keep in mind griddy . Otherwise, well done, and nice terraforming, i could never make mountains like that.

This is my first post. You said you were suprised with how many posts you got at first, but then died down? You waited 12 days to post more pictures (finals, whatever) and that is why, I think, that people have lost intrest in your journal Keep up the good work and I'm sure people will come back!
