Not yet and most likely not ever by developers.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3

UDI would be such an awesome addon to CXL, it would make the game much more enjoyable because you can create you city, then drive in it! Would be alot of fun with all those curved roads.

The closest thing they have to it is clicking on a car and following it around...as in, if you click on a car in traffic, the camera will be attached to the back of it, and it'll automatically follow the car while you're free to look around. You can't control the car, however...it's just for fun. Still...it's nice once you get a nice city built up to be able to see it from the ground as a sim (or a Bobblehead, as I've heard it referred to) would.

LOL Bobblehead. I like that the name is starting to stick - LOL.

Just be aware that it is suspected that the cause of a city blacking out might be related to attaching the camera to a vehicle in the game. There is no concrete evidence as of yet and it might not happen the first time or the 5,000th time that you attack the camera to a vehicle, but that seems to be what people have reported they were doing when the city blacked out on them and as of yet, there doesn't seem to be a way to revert the city to a non blacked out city unless you have a previous save that you can load up. So make sure to make a save before you start following any vehicles around, just in case that's truly the cause of the city screen blacking out.

Better safe than sorry. I hated losing my 200k city when it blacked out and my last private save was back at like 30k.

Only problem is that when you get to certain points the cars just stop (simple interchanges) or disappear (other highway interchanges or when they get to a certain road for some reason). I agree that it would be an awesome add-on so that you can basically start at any place and drive where you like, would be great.
