Check your port is forwarded. Type your local IP into your web browser and look at games and applications or whatnot. Or try simple port forwarder.

Or double check the IP.

It also works on my lsptop using Wi Fi.

I just turned off my WiFi, reset my LAN, reconnected my LAN, and now my internet connection is faster than ever and the PFPortChecker shows the port is open!

Now it is working! Everyone join my server! No whitelist! Flying enabled!

I think there is a spawn protection near the spawn point. It is on by default and it is too much trouble to change because it encourages griefers. If you make 15 good posts on Planet Random http://planetrandom.freeforums.org/server-whitelist-app-t304.html then you can become an Op. I won't Op people who help out on neither the server or forums.

I removed the doors, finished lighting up the tracks, and gave the paths and platforms more glass protection. Now, there is less of a spawn jail.

My server is set to have a maximum of 10 players (though localhost admin does not count towards this limit) and I can monitor who does what so I can remove people from Op status or ban their accounts if they misbehave. My server has no whitelist but misbehaving results in bans.

My server now has a whitelist. For this weekend only, I will put people interested on my server who posted their MineCraft IDs here.

Hello! Been AFK for a couple moths .

Anyway, I might try your server, OcramSeattle, looks fun.

Been trying out some mods, like Mo'People (adds Notch and others), loving the Mo'Creatures.

But what i find really cool though, is that I only have 2GB of RAM on my computer, but with Optimine+Optifog, i can play on fancy and far with noooooo lag!!!!!!!

Yeah, anyone with a slow computer or a computer with less than 4GB of RAM should really try Optimine+Optifog.

My server address is available on Planet Random and I leave my server program running all day and all night. Sometimes it disconnects itself with a "Cannot Keep Up" error overnight. If I suspect hacking or anything, I will turn off everything.

+ Added a brand new biome generation code that simplifies life a lot and makes things much more exciting for the future

+ Killing a monster makes it drop experience orbs

Endermen suck. They are walking noise filters that can randomly move any block(even bedrock), and are active even when possibly as much as 200 blocks from the player. They are tearing up the forest by removing pieces of tree trunks, its pretty awful...

other than that, I like 1.8.

Also, anyone else made a mushroom tent? You grow a red mushroom using bone meal and then cut out the stem, then fill out the bottom with another block. Instant 3*3*5 house where you can put a bed at night. Perfect for traveling.

Luckily that isn't right, it used to be, but Notch fixed it, Endernam don't pick up blocks anymore, the block only spawn in the Endernam themselves. So they won't be destroying everything you've built

Endermen still pick up stone, sand, wood, cobblestone, etc.
