Here is a video from Collegehumor.com about the insane abilities of a Sim City mayor to call doom down on his own city.  Don't vote for the other guy, haha.

And if you notice, the first city game pic is not SimCity but CitiesXL!

HAHAHA! Brilliant video! This is what you get when you use SC4 logic in RL 3.gif Fortunately I'm friendly enough not to unleash disasters upon my cities, although I do have the habbit to rebuild whole neighbourhoods without negotiation...

I love that video! I usually rely on St. Ninja's Disease Research Centre to keep my sims well educated (during or after a large jump in population, I place that building, it takes away the students from everywhere else and gives everyone maximum EQs).

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3

This video is funny, thanks for posting, but I think the most mayors don't use disasters , at least I don't use, but that idea of writing your own name after destroy some buildings seems to be quite crazy... hahah

If I had to actually convince my sims to reelect me, I would threaten them with lightning and tornadoes and promise to build them parks/plazas and all the services they need, then threaten to drop funding if they misbehave.
