OK ,a false start but what i try to ask is : I've made hundreds off towns and its seems to me that its something missing all the time 4.gif

I have SAM etc, but when i look at all those wunderfull CJ 'S i dont understand why i cant make something beautiful as that ?

And thank you Xyloxadoria , that you understand that not everyone on this world speaks or can write English .

With regards to the new question, it is a skill thing. And one thing that you have to learn is to be yourself when it comes to the game. That is their playing style, and you will develop one of your own. Each one is unique, and each one has its things about it that are special.

You're approaching a huge learning curve, one that I am onboard right now, my RHW interchanges were awful at first, now I am getting better, but they are way to big, the MIS ramps are too wide. So I work at ways to make them smaller. Then the route looks unrealistic when it goes up into mountains. Download the RHW slope mod, make it even better yet. Take slow steps, and you'll get there. Also it isn't about making the town pretty in my sight. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I have made some very pretty communitys sitting on the foot of a mountain, and they look good, but they are different from everyone elses. The main purpose of the game is challenge. While I sometimes sweat over finding the perfect mods, it doesn't hinder me from enjoying this game, which is quite like role-playing.

What do yours look like anyway?

The complete region ( ok i start with one city ) in mine opinion must be Dutch , so under sea level and not to much high buildings etc. So much water and tunnels and farms etc . but than realistic!

The only dumb question is the one that doesn't find a voice.

If you've been looking through CJs, there is much custom content there, often unpublished, by the author of the CJ.  Many lots are created specially using the BAT (Building Architect Tool) which is a long learning curve in itself.  There is a lot of how-to stuff on the Omnibus.

If you are interested in the BAT, there is a very good tutorial there.

Otherwise, if you want to have your cities and towns look like Holland, then you have a lot of work cut out for you.  Just making the polders will be a problem, because the game believes that bwlow sea-level is always water coverted.  I'd suggest you hop over to off-topic and raise a topic like "Calling all Nederlanders" and see who responds.  They might have a solution to your problems, or might be willing to collaborate.
