Well, I think that it would be a good idea to make a map the game really lacks; a map with a large valley in the middle surrounded with mountains. I can draw it if you want.

Is there, by any chance, a tutorial on how to create a map in the map-editor? Because im just blank

@sphomore there is an tutorial, but its not easy...... you need: the worldmachine 2: http://www.world-machine.com/basic_edition.html the editor for cities xl: http://www.file-upload.net/download-2359550/CitiesXL-MAP-Editor_Update-19.03.2010.rar.html and the tutorial.... there are videos in it: they are english, but the names of the videos and the folders are german.... http://uploaded.to/file/ulkpq6

Thats really nice,and i look forward to wroking on this map! Oh and do you possibly think you can make american city maps like Los Angeles,Houston,Chicago(etc.)? That would be the greatest thing for me in cities xl,well except for mass transit lol.Thanks for the map,i appreciate it! =)

i know but that map crashes because of a city previously on the the same dot, if i could find someone to change this mod and put it in the canyon list insead of coast/ beaches , Thanks though Neidhard i found that the day it came out hehe!

i downloaded the two maps at the top of this page but cant find them! does anyone know where they are kept? i saved the downloaded file into the paks like usual

Is it possible to make these maps on new regions instead of replacing the current ones? I think somewhere around here or another site someone managed to create some new region files which you can use for new maps so you won't have to replace the current ones.

im noticing that in the default monte cristo map and one or two others u cant build any road connections and as a result the freight capacity is 0! anything to fix it?
