I used no mods, and just played with the tools for fun.

I had some space between roads lined with the small nice holiday hotels and the nicer looking low density unskilled and skilled houses.  I built 'paths' using the first plaza tool to fill between roads (which I later deleted).  I made another square using the road tool (and later deleted roads) filled with another plaza tool, which put in the modern sculpture, horse statue etc.  Finally I filled the rest with the forest park tool.  There's another different small square in a corner of the park not shown.

 

My graphic settings are relatively low, and I'm not a photographer, but I support this thread!
