Map: The Fertile Plains.
  2. Playing in the Solo Mode (with the unfair trade with Ommicorp) but still I manage to fill the entire map with billings. Statistics: Population 7.773.000 Unqualified workers 69% global satisfaction qualified workers 66% global satisfaction exclusives 64% global satisfaction elites 66% global satisfaction Hotels global satisfaction 100% Industry global satisfaction 100% Officers global satisfaction 100% Retail global satisfaction 100% Environment satisfaction is 39% and I didn’t have any power plants, landfills or industry/manufacture. My city sells approximate 1000 Officers tokens and 600 high-tech tokens to Ommicorp and I buy everything else except farming and oil. Some buildings help my to increase production up to 60% to Officers and high-tech so like that I manage to maintain a positive income. Pics resized; max image size is 800x600. --Liv
  3. High-tech industry low profits

The freight is green so I don’t think that there is a problem there. The traffic around the high-tech industry area is between yellow and green but I have many large avenues around the high-tech industry area.
  4. Why all my high-tech industry has a profit around 65%(but not bankrupt)? All other initiators are 100% green and the global satisfaction of high-tech industry is 100%.
  5. Elites high-density neighbourhood. City population 3.340.000 on single player.

Ok the single player is more difficult than Planet Offer but if you know that you are doing a city with population 3.000.000+ is not very difficult to achieve.

Cities xl is not a demanding game in terms of hardware. You must have a very crappy/old pc in order to run Cities xl like that… For example I run Cities xl extremely smooth at 1920x1200, 4xAA, max settings, in a city with a 3.000.000 population.
  8. City population 1.860.000 on single player.

Forgot to say that the silos indicators are all green except the profit that is orange and because of that are constantly getting bankrupt. quote> I fixed that problem with my silos by placing a small avenue as close as possible to increase freight...never had that problem since. quote> Gonna have to give that a try, I've had the exact same problem with silos quote> Yes it works, small avenue resolve this problem with the silos. Today the new patch came out and I see my income on my city going from 110.000 to 250.000!!! Looks like the new patch make the game easier.

I mean it is ok to have Industry/manufacture on the corner of the map without affecting the entire map? quote> You should read my post about pollution in the 'Hints and Tips'-thread. quote> Still I haven’t understood some things. A) Heavy pollution limited to a certain radius around the building B) light pollution (but stackable) citywide Electric and waste utilities affect the environment with A) and B) Industry/manufacture affect the environment with A) but NOT B) is that correct?

  13. My elites environment satisfaction is only at 41%(over all elites satisfaction is 56%) in a city without any industry or manufacture. Why is that happened what I need to do? City population 650.000 Elites are placed in an area without any prolusion or traffic noise. Many parks surround my elites. I have only same power plants and waste utilities in the corner on the map far away from my city. One more question: My silo gets constantly bankrupt for no reason but the farms are ok. Any tips where to place them?
  14. Single player trade is unfair

I cannot build a city with more than 500.000-600.000 citizens in Single player I have try 2 times now but I found that there is a limit around this number or I am doing something wrong. I find that from 0-500.000 citizens the game is extremely easy but after this point becomes nightmare... In multiplayer my city was 800.000 so I don't thing that I am a bad player, also I am very familiar with city builders and I don't find the simcity3000 and simcity4 difficult at all. Also some times I cannot buy some resources. For instance if I want to buy agriculture, simply there is no button next to the offer.
  15. When you have a city with population more than 500.000 the city cannot longer depend on resources you produce, so you need to start trading, but with 4:1 exchange rate makes you economy to collapse. I think that this is done for purpose to make you pay the online fee in order to have 1:1 exchange rate and create large cities (with 4:1 exchange rate you cannot create large cities but with 1:1 you can). My question is there is some way (cheat/hack) to get 1:1 exchange rate in the Single player?
