Im new in this game. I have some cheats for zillions of dollars tho but how can I download extra buildings , all I have is maybe ten of them and its getting boring. how can I upgrade that?

more buildings and other stuff.....?

Aha.  I answered your other post.  If you want to amplify a post, use the edit button at the bottom of the panel.

You get other stuff by downloading from the STEX.  However, since you are new, I'd suggest you spend some time browsing in the Omnibus (the link is at the top of the page).

This is not a simple site, and there are a few things you really must know.  The Omnibus will straighten out a lot of stuff that you would otherwise get to find out the hard way, by horrible experience.

Downloading from the STEX is not simple.  All the files are packed as .zip files and have to be unpacked, and the readme files and the advice panel in the STEX understood.  You shouldn't just shot gun a lot of stuff into your game.

You should also make sure you have the official patches, both of them.  You can get them from the EA site where you registered your game.  Be sure you get the right EP1 update for your world location.

If you go into your all programs menu when you click on the start button there should be a folder called Maxis. Mose over that and theb mouseover SimCity 4 and there should be a thing that says "Electronic Registration", click on that. It should give you a step by step process to register the game.

I did mine through the EA site so it may be a bit different. Also I would recommend registering it right off the bat when you install it so you dont have to go through the hassle of doing it later. In some point through the installation it will request you register it.
